How do problems arise? and how can Hypnotherapy resolve these?
Problems in adult life almost always stem from childhood. This comes down to how we develop and grow as human beings and specifically our mind.
The best way to understand the human mind is to actually compare it to a computer hard drive. When you want to keep something safe, you save it to the hard drive. If you no longer need this, you can delete it. Eventually you have a computer full of great things that you want.
The mind operates under the same principles, almost! From the moment we come to exist our mind is learning new information, It loves to soak up information, knowledge and belief's. It's how we develop a sense of self, our individual belief system and how we interact with others.
Unlike a computer however, there is a problem. The mind grows over time like the rest of our body. As it grows it will accept everything and anything, it does not differentiate between right or wrong, fact or fiction. It can ONLY achieve this function when fully developed when we our in our late teens / early twenties. When fully developed the mind will cross reference anything new put before it with what what it already knows. If is thinks the new information is compatible with what your existing knowledge says, then it is allowed in. If it thinks no way, then it is dismissed.
So when growing and developing our mind, we can store away many non serving behavior's, belief's and limiting statements.
You may have been told you are fat, fat fat fat.....reality may well be you are not and a healthy weight but your belief will be 'I am a fatty', that gets locked away and will stay with you for the rest of your days. This is how problems are formed.
As a professional hypnotherapist, my role is to either delete wrong information or beliefs and / or add new beliefs that serve you powerfully. I bypass that part of your mind that cross references, so it will take on board the good stuff.
